Title:  RN - Ambulatory Clinic
Location:  Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Contract: 13 weeks
Schedule: 40hr/week - 10hr shifts (Mon-Fri)
Requirements: 2+ years experience as an RN | BLS required | Epic experience required | Travel experience Required
Call is required, would be one week of call and is part of department rotation, so one week every 3 months or so. Call would be M-F 1730-0700 then S/S 48 hrs ending at 0700 Monday morning. Once you do your week of call, you are off the hook until the next time your rotation comes around. o Competence in circulating in OR Procedures – Urology knowledge is a plus. o Able to be flexible and pivot based on what changes occur during the day o Able to keep up in a fast paced environment o Organized o Team oriented – we have a great team of engaged staff and providers o Positive attitude o Able to scrub is a plus.

The Staff RN-Ambulatory Clinics works collaboratively as an active member of the interprofessional team to provide therapeutic patient and family centered care. The Staff RN-Ambulatory Clinics systematically and continuously collects and assesses data related to patient health status to develop, execute and evaluate the plan of care. The Staff RN-Ambulatory Clinics utilizes evidence to drive clinical decisions and practice related to individual and population health. The Staff RN-Ambulatory Clinics establishes goals and strategies for meeting care coordination needs across settings with the patient, family, and/or other care providers. The Staff RN-Ambulatory Clinics considers factors related to safety, effectiveness and fiscal accountability in planning and delivering care. The Staff RN-Ambulatory Clinics delegates and supervises care in accordance with the WI Nurse Practice. The Staff RN-Ambulatory Clinics participates in continuous quality improvement initiatives and assumes responsibility for their professional development. Major accountabilities of this role include patient care coordination, direct patient care, patient education, telephone triage/eVisits, and performing/assisting with in-clinic minor procedures. May float to other areas on as needed for operations need. Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Experience: -Clinical experience and/or interest in the care and management of patient populations specific to the area of employment. Preferred Skills & Experience: -At least 1 year of relevant nursing experience

Required Certifications & Licensure: -Requires current state of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC (Nurse Licensure Compact). -American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent. Preferred Certifications & Licensure: -N/A
